What's involved
After consultation with various Premier and Football
League Clubs up and down the country we have developed a
warm-up which includes basic stretches, football
techniques and a series of SAQ Drills (Speed, Agility
and Quickness).
The SAQ Drills will give in indication
of players balance, quickness of feet, co-ordination and
speed, which are used at Premier or Football League
Clubs.
Players will then be put into their
own age group and participate in a Small Sided Game
lasting 30-minutes, under the same criteria as the games
played at a Premier Academy or Football League Centre of
Excellence. Players must be under their age group on or
before 31 August 2007.
This will give the scouts or
recruitment officers ample time to assess each player
and it will also enables them to make a decision as to
whether to invite you to their own Academy or Centre of
Excellence.
When you make a booking
soccerstar will confirm
it and will also ask you to sign and return a parent
consent form and a terms and conditions form before
participating in the trial. You will then receive all
instructions, times and directions 10-14 days prior to
the Trial Day.
How much will
it cost?
The Trial days prices are shown in the details of
each individual day and are open to both members and non-members. Non-members pay
full price, members receive a discount.
